ANTIQUE PAIR OF CERAMIC GARNITURE VASES
Highly decorative Art Dedo period pair of hand painted earthenware vases.Featuring landscape scene to one side and floral design to the other on ,a substantial bulb body that tapers to a fluted round base.The bases are marked W&E English ware hand painted. There is also a handpainted number 731 (which may indicate the number run) and a large A (which again may indicate the quality or the painters mark).W&E where a small pottery decorating studio in the Tunstall area of Stoke on Trent at the turn of the 20th century.
Measuriments: 35cm high and 20cm wide .
Condition: There has been a past repair to the top of one of the vases and the handle has been overpainted, there is signs of age related crazing visable on the lighter side,(please see photos), neither of which distract from what are a very nice presentable pair of vases.
